-Season 3
I’m back. And this season there’s gonna be more wack poetry, more dysfunctional punctuation, more Alice Walker worship, more nonsensical stories, more lame-arse lyrics, more cooking for dummies, more pointless politics, more dumb-arse commentaries, and more mother-fuckin’ shoes.
Since last season…
• I’ve gained weight.
• My puppy is now a dog.
• My camera broke (so I bought a new one).
• I go outside – loads!
• The iC1 has been interviewed by the authorities.
• I still have cankles.
• I’m living in the mountains; in a whitewashed farmhouse (pictured).
• I’ve stopped plucking out my grey hairs.
• My personal hygiene has improved.
• I’ve decided a woman abusing prescription drugs is a cliché.
• I’m still not quite sure what the difference between a noun and an adjective is.
If anyone’s interested why I went away, here’s the reason…
It’s what I do. Eventually – and it doesn’t matter who you are – eventually, I will leave you. I will always, eventually, want to be left-the-fuck-alone. I thought it was best to tell you that – no one likes to be duped.
No kids; family; husband; lovers or cars – the way I see it, the upside is, I get to turn my back on humanity whenever I like. It’s like a perk of my procured predicament. Some folks may call it selfish – I calls it freedom. I wanted to be free from 'the grid' for a while, so I left, and now I’m back. It’s not personal.
Fanks, lovers…
– Cheyelle Omar
Mission Statement:
• I’m not gonna be replying to as many comments. – They show a new episode of Touched by an Angel every weekday on CBS Drama (who knew angels came from Northern Ireland?). Not to mention back-to-back episodes of Unsolved Mysteries on CBS Reality – quite frankly, I don’t have the time.
• I’m gonna get rid of the “followers” App. – it distracts me. Besides, do I strike anyone as the type of person other people should “follow”? Even my dogs give me the *side eye* when I tell ‘em to walk to heel.
• Less posts. I’m not getting any younger and I ain’t getting paid for this shit. And no one, I repeat, no one likes a lacklustre whore (ask Wayne Rooney). So I reckon one post, around once a week, should take the groggery outta this bloggery, for me at least.
This season is dedicated to the following people:
The Gorilla Margaret Jesse
Starts With One Mccaffery The Glaswegian Family
Beauty & Health Editor Zully Misplaced Boy
Ms. Sylaneous Foxy (T.A.F.B) Eccentricity
Tina (T.C.W.P) The Anonymous
Cos they found me – they was the ones.

OMG OMG OMG *Clapping!!!!* :-) I won't lie, I was worried--thank you for the information that you'll periodically wander off and perhaps disappear from the e-world. I get that. I don't take it personal at all; sometimes people just don't want to anymore. However, I didn't know that about you before so I was worried and dedicated a blog to your well-being. I said there too, I understand when people just don't want to anymore but I'm sending out hope that Cheyelle is ok. Of course, there was the factor that one of my myspace friends had just passed and she hadn't been online for almost as long as you hadn't by then. I wasn't close with her, but her departure from this earthly world...well, you know.

The blog I wrote about you. ;-) My next status update is for you, too. Heheh! And actually my friend, you were the one to find me--you saw me annoying Alice Walker in her blog. lol!
I just took a sigh of relief,... no really I did.
ReplyDeleteI happy your back, on whatever level you want to be back. I'm happy.
Count me in as happy too. I tried to have trust that you had decided to relocate or travel, taking some kind of break. As "starts with one" said, whatever degree to which you want to return to us, I am happy.
ReplyDeletexoxo...
this pleases me greatly.
ReplyDeletewelcome back mofo!!!
ReplyDeletelook forward to the weekly updates :-)
Being missed is like being kissed - it makes you feel better. Thanks for the kisses "mofos" - they're not wasted on me.
ReplyDeletePs. True, I did find your blog first, Eccentricity (LOL - you Alice Walker-botherer). But here's the thing, you (and the others) make me feel found - there is a difference.
Omar-stylie love, to you all…
